AYRC 2016 dates with new rounds announced

The Australian Youth Rocketry Challenge is pleased to announce the 2016 dates which includes two rounds in Victoria and Western Australia and the finals in Queensland.

Participants will travel from other states to participate in the different rounds to compete for state based championships and the finals fly-off to determine the national champions.

Victoria – 18/06/2016
Western Australia – 25/06/2015
Queensland (Finals) – 30/07/2016

Next handbooks are still being created, so keep checking back as these will be released in a few weeks.

On our way out to Grass Valley for the WA round, trailers loaded, propellant ready and looking forward to a great day! There are a few light showers floating around, but due to clear before the day kicks off, nice high cloud base for demo flights.

Who will be the champions of the West??

Hahaha, I don't know if anyone grabbed a photo of you way down the road, but would have been a good spot to see the rockets from.
