Moderate winds greeted the members who ventured out the launch site last Sunday. There was a good turnout of enthusiastic flyers on low, mid and high power all morning. I'd be tempted to drill a hole in the rear centering ring and patch with epoxy rather than mess with the body tube.... Replace the ubolt with an eye bolt... When you install ubolts add a drop of epoxy to the nuts...

Just a few more comments from me... It -may- be possible to add weight to the rocket to keep it under 5000ft at Jimboomba. This would need to be simulated, etc. I think another problem will be to get RSO approval to fly a rocket on a motor that has not been recommended by the manufacturer. Again, lo...

As above, go with the 38 mm mount definitely...
Grab a 29mm to 38 mm adapter which will have everything you need to fly 29 mm motors in a 38 mm mount...

To give us some space between launches and spare some tears when our partners find out we'd rather launch on valentines day, the February launch will be delayed for 1 week until 21 February. The AGM will still be run after the launch.
