Re: 14th October 2018 Launch “October Skies”

At this point we are still 'go' for this weekend.

The local weather pattern in Jimboomba recently has been for clear mornings with afternoon rain. If this holds then we will be good for the launch on the weekend.

As always though, stay tuned to the forum and the qldrocketry website.

The theme was definitely low power with 35 launches in the A - D impulse range, 11 mid power launches and o...

Re: 8th July 2018 Launch

I'll be picking up the QRS trailer on Sunday morning but may need to leave early....

Are there any members available to drop the trailer back after the launch?

Re: 20th May 2018 Launch.

Perfect launching conditions greeted members at the launch site today. After waiting out light aircraft stall tests directly above the launch site we managed a total of 46 launches: 32 low power, 8 mid power and 6 high power. Most prolific flyer for the day was again Mark with nine launches ranging ...

More info can be found at the AMRS web site: https://rocketry.org.au/safety-information/ A lot of the items you riased are covered in the AMRS / TRA L2 study guide materials. For me the statement on the Tile website summarises it's usefulness: "Sport was designed with our most powerful range, r...
