Looks to me to be a complicated solution looking for a problem to solve. Why mess with something that (a) is simple (b) doesn't need improving with (c) something that is far more complicated, and (d) the current system can be used by anyone while the "improvement" cannot. If it ain't broke...

To date I have only flown the one L935 - in my initial Light Sabre - and the tailcone suffered no damage other than some slight discolouration at the exit. Internally there was some small loss of the anodizing, but no melting, again at the exit. OTT - thanks for the tip on epoxying the FC on these m...

The CTI Pro38 motors are different to the other sizes. The rear closure for the Pro38 is actually part of the motor reload. If you have a 38mm motor handy have a look and you will see that noozle end has the threaded closure as part of the motor.
