Re: Calisto

If i was to build mine again, id turn the piston upside down. How i figure it is that as the piston is deployed it sometimes get damaged on the bottom edge. I think this could cause the piston to jam, happened to me more than once out of a clean tube resulting in no deployment

Re: Firefox addons

we also have the wireless 3g internet connection, it runs fairly fast too! ment to be a 7.2mb/s connection, never gets quite that good though. The only bad thing is that we have a 6 gig download limit. At this speed it usually lasts me about a week or 2.... damn telstra

Re: Rear deployment

what i see could possibly happen is the chute gets caught on the fixed ring. Perhaps remove the fixed ring completely and have the rear centring ring lipped so that it fits inside the body tube and then have a edge where it pushes on the body tube. Kinda like this: http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/...

Re: G76-7G availability question/general engine question

All the casing is doing is holding the pressure of the propellant burning. Exactly the same as the estes cardboard motors. Have a look at these links http://www.apogeerockets.com/education/how_engines_work.asp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Estes motors http://www.apogeerockets.com/e...

Re: Best rocket for class 1 certification?

i also have the pml callisto, great kit! Its fallen from 1500ft with no chute out twice now, only popping a fin once which was fixed with 5 min epoxy. If you get one, upgrade to the 38mm motor mount and get a 38-29 adapter

Re: Suburban Rocketry official statement

I could say that im surprised, but im really not. I also have a inkling whom it could be, having had previous arguments with said person over apparently sensitive issues (which they started! I merely commented  ) Also, good idea with registering the business name! Does this mean your opening a ...
