Oh really.. bugger, I was really looking forward to being able to air start a half dozen motors. Thanks anyway PK, I will see if I can find something somewhere else unless someone has one they could sell me.. it will be going to a very cool/crazy rocket.

Gday mate. I have been making MD24's from scratch and have a mandrel for a 24mm 7:1 VK nose cone and a thin wall shoulder. Can do them with a removable end cap to house electronics/ add nose weight, or I can do it so its permanently fixed in place.

Phenolic is pretty waterproof.. I tried to soak some phenolic coupler out of a tube that had stuck.. a week in the dam and no change, had to smash it out.
Here is the finished nose cone.
