Re: Estes E Motor Reliability

I’ve seen two blow up personally in the last 3 months (one in WA one in QLD). In saying that that was out of 5 flights using the Estes E. So it’s definitely a gamble. You could perhaps try a D21 with a 24-18mm adaptor if you want to stick with single use but avoid an E20. Failing that it’d be safer ...

Re: Greetings

Where do people buy high power kits in Australia? There don't seem to be many options available online, unless you are prepared to pay postage from the US. From Australian Rocketry! Simply click the banner picture at the top of the forum, or any of the brands at the bottom or this link: http://www....

Awesome stuff Brad, I look forward to seeing them! Will you be using flashpan or individual ignitors for your 7 motor?

Have you seen the thread for my 7 motor build?

Re: Formula 150 L3 Build

Good lord Nat what are you drinking  Coming along well mate, the blue glass looks awesome, will you leave it unpainted? Also I've not seen the fins attached to the MMT outside of the airframe before, that looks like a brilliant idea to get strong internal fillets. How do you fill the excess fin...

AUK XIII - L2 Build

My favorite part of October Sky is the hunt for Auk XIII after they discover they didn't start the forest fire. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1747/28766714058_a04bdc27af_c.jpg Auk XIII is also my favorite rocket from both the movie and the book, so much so that I made myself one: https://farm2.stat...
