I’d like to say a big Thank-You to all the WA guys involved in organizing and hosting the Biggest and Best Rocketry event in Australia, was an absolute blast.. :mrgreen:

This GPS system does not have a continuous record (that I have found). The best application for this would be after its landed "where is my rocket". if you want "how high is my rocket" I would not advise this device unless you have really good timming and trust in the SMS system...

Guess the best way to test these would be to bring them along to a launch and send them with the people heading out doing the recovery and ringing them, I’ll bring mine to the next launch install inside the NC.. The spec's on both units look the same so yours wouldn’t be “Next-G” either I think, min...

I have tried mine out just stationary and it worked a treat. Yet to put it in a rocket. We have the same one, I have a Telstra Next-G sim card in mine and the unit works, but it’s backward compatible and I believe only 3G or GSM.. Might work at Cedar Grove, not out west where I need it for that rea...
