Re: decoding SpaceX telem with RTLSDR

Saw that, pretty cool stuff. I want to know if the transmit video for DOD launches, they do not stream the video once they stage these flights.

Didn’t make it to Ontario or Nova Scotia. Alberta and BC are incredibly beautiful.

Re: HPR X Wing - T70

So having done the pour I then proceeded to clean up the weight. It appears in the process of removing the 3D print from the mould I flattened the tip, also as it dried it warped too. Nothing that a file and a grinder couldn’t sort out. Next I cut the weight with a hacksaw so that it would fit eithe...

Re: HPR X Wing - T70

I’ve finally got this build back on track am now back to working on the nose weight. I started out moulding clay around the 3D printed model of the weight. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50965675117_8d09e16b10_z.jpg Nose Weight Mould on Flickr I then removed the 3D printed shape and let the cla...

Re: Parachute swivels...

Personal I don’t usually bother, just added weight, complexity and a failure point. Don’t usually see any evidence of the line being all wound up after a flight. Mind you this may depend on how you do your line. I put chute at the top, nose in the middle, booster at the bottom, a lot of people put t...

Re: Level 2 build

For the Harm adapter the motor mount tube needs to be a bit longer than the motor (unless the tube has its own adapter such as PML kwikswitch), but yeah don’t know about using the HARM retainer rings adapter with a slimline retainer.

Hopefully someone else will have something if mine is not suitable.
