Re: Lost rockets page

Hi all, a rocket has been located to the south which is either a 75 or 98mm (can't really tell from the low res photo). It looks high performance though.

If anyone is still missing a rocket like this, can you please let us know (with a description).

Re: RE: Re: Welcome to Australian Rocketry 4.0

Would be great to be able to do a quick search for kits of certain type, ie: fibreglass etc... And also what they are rated for, Level 1, 2... and what kits come with and without instructions Hopefully something that could be implemented in a future update just to make finding the right kit that li...

Not only will you learn ...

Re: First go

Welcome Peter and great to see another new rocket enthusiast launching. That is not right if you have to remove layers of cardboard on the motors, can you confirm the rocket takes 18mm diameter motors? Or do you mean shorten the motors, which also means there is some issue, perhaps a motor block ins...

Re: Hello from the Upper Hunter

Ditto to Derek, except if you want a quality product to start off with, look at a Southern Cross Rocketry (SCR) low power rocket kit and components ;-)

Re: South Australian regulations

G'Day upsidedownengineer, SA is a funny one with a unique way of addressing rocketry. Currently there are no active rocket clubs, however this is about to change with universities and enthusiasts in the process of getting a new (long awaited) site. This group will be under the national body, Austral...

It is going to be interesting to see how this unfolds. There is speculation on what this will be spent on and who will benefit, let's just hope it is the right focus...

Haha, thanks for posting CATO. There is a lot going on with Black Sky at the moment and whilst its focus is on commercial and defence, there will massive advantages fed back down to hobby rocketry.

Re: September 8th Launch

Please be advised that there is a fire ban currently in place for Logan City and after consultation with the QFES, the proposed launch for this Sunday 8 September has been postponed to a date to be advised. Additionally, there are active fires burning in nearby regions, so we will be extra cautious ...

Thanks for the feedback CATO, that is a great idea. I will have to research that it is possible, but if so I will make it happen.

Re: Almost all motors on backorder

Thanks for the support guys. It would be amazing to stick all motors all the time, but that just isnt reality. I would also be happy for someone to pay for one of every motor to have in their collection too ;-) Pre-orders are ALWAYS the best option to get a desired motor, otherwise it is a waiting g...

SCR MPR kit with a 29mm motor loves H motors. I fly them all the time and they have only been out together with hot glue.
