Thanks. I’d be happy to send it again.

Hi Steve, I know Dave has been away with work a bit, perhaps you could send the reports directly to AMRS: info@rocketry.org.au

Re: 14th October 2018 Launch “October Skies”

QRS has been following the weather all week with only late afternoon showers that wouldn’t affect the launch. Unfortunately there has been a change in the weather pattern and 20mm of rain is predicted over the course of the event. To give everyone the best experience at Flames, Smoke & Noise, th...

Re: Australian Rocketry shipping container pre-order announcement

Ping Blake on info@ausrocketry.com. He is quite helpful and flexible at times :D He is, but I'm a bit worried for him. I've emailed and left voice mail and not heard back in the last couple of weeks. I also have an order sitting in "Processing". Does anyone know if everything is OK at AR?...

MissileWorks RRC3 units and CTI hardware restocked

We have just received a new shipment of MissileWorks RRC3 units and some CTI hardware.

AUGUST 2018 LAUNCH CANCELLED - FIRE ONE WEEK/HEAVY RAIN THE NEXT It is with great disappointment that for only the second time in QRS’ history, we have to cancel a launch. Unfortunately the weather folk got it right for a change and it has been pouring since before 4am. The next launch will be in t...

Australian Rocketry shipping container pre-order announcement

The much anticipated rocket motor and component pre-order is here. As Australian Rocketry prepares for the next shipment of motors and other goodies, we always like to give people the opportunity to pre-order products as to not miss out on that certain item they really want. This shipment will have ...

Re: Security Error on Aus Rocketry site

All fixed. We changed SSL certificate provider in anticipation of some major changes to the website and like any good rocket endeavour, there was a slight hiccup.

Thanks for raising this ;-)

There appears to be a glitch with the SSL certificate auto renew. Looking into this now.

Re: Tapematch

Tapematch is a fireworks product similar to quickmatch, but with the ability to stick it to things. It is made by sprinkling BP into a thick roll of tape with a skinny roll over the top (sticky sides touching). It was first created to make fusing up set pieces (fireworks writing) easier as tradition...

Re: AMRS and TRA Reciprocal Arrangement

That's great you were able to take a trip.

Slightly longer legs, but there are a bunch of stops you can do e.g. Hawaii, Asia, Fiji etc. plenty of opportunity for small intermediate holidays.

Re: AMRS and TRA Reciprocal Arrangement

Thanks Steve, Just to clarify, this insurance is only valid at Tripoli specific launches. Unfortunately it doesn't meet Australian requirements which is why the AMRS holds a very specific policy, however it is good to know that there is something in place. Steve, it would be great to see you post mo...

Re: 19th August 2018 Launch

LAUNCH POSTPONEMENT For the first time in QRS’ history, we have to postpone this Sunday’s launch (19/08/2018) due to total fire bans across South East Queensland announced yesterday. The ban is currently in place until early next week. Depending on the weather, this may change, however we will send...
