Hi Mike, Prior to use, I sand the surfaces of the propellant to ensure a good transfer of heat from the ignitor to the propellant, I noticed that there was a small hole (match head sized) in the channel where the ignitor resides, looking closely it could be seen that the bubble was quite large, thus...

Aerotech D-24-10T - Air bubble

Interesting, just found an air bubble in an Aerotech D-24-10T RMS motor, the air bubble has about a quarter of the volume of the total motor propellant. First time I have seen this :shock:
