Re: North Coast Rocketry 2 new builds..

As an aside , do you think ( once the Alligator clips have been addressed) there will be enough juice from a normal club launch controller to ignite all seven rockets with the way its currently I wired? , or will I need to consider something else to ensure all motors ignite... Re: North Coast Rocketry 2 new builds..

Nice project :) . I see you have used regular alligator leads bundled together for the cluster harness. Please check how these are made. The cheap ones (ie most of them) just crimp the tabs of the alligator clips around a stripped part of the wire. No solder is harmed in this process. These go inter...

Re: Downloading and decoding NOAA APT images with rtl-sdr

Thanks Drew. All well down here. Not too much covid in our area. I get vaccinated in about 4 weeks. Stay safe over there too. BTW, I love how the software allows visualisation of the data these days. There are some brilliant tools for SDR. Not like the good old days where the tools were all hardware...

Hi Villhume, I won't comment on Queensland as I am a Victorian. You might want to have a look at a couple of my threads out of interest  https://forum.ausrocketry.com/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=5324 https://forum.ausrocketry.com/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=6632

Re: Serpentine launches

Coming from NSW, can I bring my own HPR motors to Serpentine? I have a NSW Pyro license but wanna check if this is valid for Vic? Down here there is no requirement for extra pyro licences. Our launching is covered by WorkSafe and there is no separate accreditation needed. It would be nice if the re...
