Sidewinder missile anybody?

I found this in an antique shop in the UK. Yes, it is a real one!

Form B709 and written permission to import must be obtained from the Minister for Immigration and Border Protection. :wink:

Its just a trainer right? Therefore it's not a weapon, it just attaches to side of an aircraft and slows it down. I would have thought anyone should be able to import it.

Because it is an inert weapon it is still a weapon, if it was a replica then it might be a different story.

The trainers are acually quite deadly in the event they come off so you may have a point.
