Australian sounding rockets paper (links)

Postby blackshire » Sat Oct 07, 2017 5:51 am

Hello All,

Below are two different links to an historical paper (which also contains technical information and scale data) about Australia's sounding rockets. It is "Upper atmospheric research at Woomera: the Australian-built sounding rockets," by Kerrie Dougherty at the Powerhouse Museum (E-mail address: kerried@phm.gov.au [she may no longer be at that institution]). Her paper--which is a very useful, concise reference--covers the Long Tom, Aeolus, HAD, HAEC, HAT, Cockatoo, Kookaburra, and Corella sounding rockets, among others. Also, she identified gaps in the records; if anyone here could provide this missing information, it would help to complete the historical chronicle. The links are as follows:

I hope this information will be helpful.
