smartphone, rocket and video

Postby nils » Tue Feb 06, 2018 1:49 am

I am building again a rocket that uses onboard smartphone for video recording. I need help with finding a video recording app that does recording in chunks. So in case my rocket crashes again, the whole video will not be lost.

Check out some of the dashcam apps to see if they provide that functionality. That's where I would start looking.

Thanks for suggestion. I checked out a lot of them. Most of them allowed minimum 1 or 5 minutes of video per video file which is too much for a small rocket flight. Then I found DailyRoads Voyager app. This can record even 1 second pieces. I tried to record with 5 second pieces and the gaps between pieces was not bad at all.
