Reasonable winds greeted club members for the QRS January launch. Despite the wind, there were still 23 launches for the day, consisting of:
As well as a number of ground tests by the UQSpace team.
The two largest motors flow on the day were:
- Brendan Hawkins flying his "Flight of the Concordes" on an I140 to 4000 ft (Brendan: was this recovered????)
- Thomas Spiller flying his Monster on an I180DM also to 4000 ft
Best decorated rocket was Eloise's "Sky Flower" pink with flowers rocket flying on a B6-4 motor.
Brown Trousers launch award goes to Brad Thompson flying his "Little Spinner" on a C6-5 to an optimistic 200 ft...
