Our Response to COVID-19

Postby Digit » Wed Mar 25, 2020 10:28 am

Dear Members and Friends of QRS,

We face an unprecedented time in our history with the COVID-19 pandemic impacting on our health and way we live our daily lives.

On advice of our parent body; the Australian Model Rocket Society; we will be ceasing all launch days indefinitely as the AMRS assesses the situation monthly.

Members may rest assured that the QRS committee has approved the extension of all existing memberships by however many months we are affected by these restrictions.

On behalf of the committee at QRS we would like to wish you, your families and your friends good health. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any enquires you may have.

Thank you for your support.

Thanks for the update Lachlan. I hope everyone with the club is safe and well and my thoughts and prayers go out to anyone who’s family, work or livelihood has been affected...

I guess this just means we all need to start working on those projects we’ve got stashed away and not yet started...

I don’t have any HPR gear awaiting construction, but I do have some 29mm LPR parts. It might be time for me to see how far I can push a 29mm MD cardboard tube... 8)
