Moderate winds greeted the members who ventured out the launch site last Sunday.
There was a good turnout of enthusiastic flyers on low, mid and high power all morning. There were 41 flights in total made up of: 4 x B, 4 x C, 4 x D, 7 x E, 1 x F, 9 x G, 9 x H, 1 x I and 2 x J.
There were five L1 certification flights! Congratulations to Sam, Peter, Anthony, Oliver and Tim.
As well as one L2 certification flight: congratulations Mark!
Other notable flights include:
Brad investigating the effects on rocket flight of not every motor in the cluster starting on his Seven-Up rocket
Nick flying his fantastic looking old school Estes Executioner that had been heavily customised on an E28 motor
Greg launching his Estes Shuttle with parachute and glider recovery on a D12 motor
Largest motors of the day were Mark flying his Bodgy One on a J425 and Nick flying Firestick XL on a J270.
See you in March!
