What an incredible day it was today at the launch. There was "pea soup" type of fog all night and also in the morning but as I left my home on the south side of Brisbane the fog was lifting fast.

By the time I got to half way to the launch site there was fog again and same at the launch site. We could only launch LPR till about 10am due to it and finally it cleared .

Amazingly also for so called club launch, we had around 100 people present. Two Scout groups came with parents and many other visitors. The quiet launch turned out to be real busy. There were many new members join on the day. :D

Awesome day of rocketry indeed and LPR launch count must be fairly high. 8)

Thanks all for a great day. My first time back for about 9 months, and Im so glad I got there. After the fog in the morning, I was a bit impatient to get my rocket onto the launchpad, but it was worth the wait.

I chose not to take any video because I just wanted to enjoy the moment, but if anyone got footage of my rocket (David Bowie 2, red, yellow and white) that flew at about 11.00 am and again in the very last drag race, I'd love to see it because they were both very good flights (by my standards anyway

Congratulations must go to Jim Lawes for a successful L1 flight at our May launch. Jim's "Katana" flew to 1900 feet on a H400-Vmax and had dual deploy recovery. Well done Jim!

Also our launch count for the morning was a staggering 56 flights - on par with one of our public launch days!
