Yes, great work on getting L1. Terrific flight, lovely rocket!

I really liked the Decals and the flight video you did up.

Thanks everyone that came and contributed, was a really great day with lots of visitors.

Congrats Aiden and Joe very nicely done certification flights.

Unfortunately my phone stopped taking motile shots for some reason so I only have a single picture of an inflight rocket, hopefully some of you did better than me.

After solving a number of technical issues I eventually got the Flying Dutchman up on a I223 skidmark to just under 3200 feet (no pictures thou).

I think I might have the bug, and given that our only rocket is now the proud temporary property of Energex, it might be time to go shopping.

Please expect lots of dumb newbie questions as I start to think up ever more inane rocket designs.

Welcome to the forums Dmeeze, I’m sure you’ll have your rocket back in soon. There are plenty of people here who can help with any questions you might have and we all like to hear about new ideas, designs builds etc. Thats what the forums are for.

This was one of the best launches with great crowd for a while. The good news is also that I asked the morning crowd how many are first time visitors to our launch I estimate 70% raised their hands. 8)

Huge Congrats to Aidan and Joe for their L1 and L2 with beautifully prepared rockets. Due to urgent family commitment I had to leave before I saw Joe's launch but. These both will go into bigger things indeed after seeing their built.

Lachlan's tribute to rocket boys was just awesome with these tiny missiles. Just wow. :P

Congrats again to Matt N. for 5 year member ship pin on the day.

Taking out the trash looked awesome but it headed towards the river. Great news is that the guys helped with the recovery. :)

I had an honour to pay tribute to our past member Ole who passed away last year. I knew him quite well and got close to him and tried help him to recover some of his rockets as he was not able to walk well and was quite frail. I didn't even realise how his passing effected me deeply and all our members present saw what happened during my speech.....I totally lost it and while hugging his kids I was shaking with emotion. Amazingly I saw so many people in the crowd wiping their eyes due to this moment. We will miss old Ole always ! :(

Thanks goes to all our members who helped on the day as without them days like this wouldn't happen. :D

Hello,
Does anyone have any footage (photos or videos) of "March Fly" descending? (No matter how grainy or shaky).
I have a few frames of half the rocket, but not all of it coming down.

...I'm trying to put create a compilation video of the build, various recordings of the flight, results.

Cheers

Joe
