9th June Launch Report:
Light winds on a lightly rain soaked field and cooler temperatures made for a very pleasant flying day, made even better for the fact the rocket eating corn field had no apparent corn in it... :P

This was the first launch I have been able to make since Christmas last year, so I was stoked to be there... The day saw a total of thirty one flights, with six high powered flights, three of them successful certifications.

Certification Flights:
Cert 1: Rachel Slatter “Rawket” H115 DM (Sparky) simmed to 2400 ft. (Successful)
Cert 2: Dominic Loveday “The Mantis” J450 DM (Sparky) simmed to 3740 ft. (Successful)
Cert 2: Rowland Noakes “Patriot” J270 simmed to 3000 ft. (Successful)

We had some good contenders for the "Scalded Cat" awards this month, with several minimum or near minimum rockets going up on Large G or H motors, that just... well.. disappeared when the button was pressed! (All recovered to the best of my knowledge).

Motor Mix:
C 11
D 2
E 1
F 3
G 8
H 3
J 3

Thanks to all who helped with setup and pack down, and a big thank you to Warren for nursing the club trailer and coordinating everyone...

I hope to see you all in July!

A.
