Damn fingerprints - when will someone tell Scoop to give his rocket a polish before he puts it on display out in the sun!

Awesome photo sets Fridge-05. You got a knack for your timing with getting the redline start ups. Those motor are so damn fast they are in frame one shot and out the next.

I am not in the slightest concerned about the case loss, although I feel for Jason, who has suffered a few failures through no fault of his own. The closures I'm sure will be fine, and I am happy to let Jason try to re-coup his losses via the AT warranty route.
My understanding is that AT have a pretty good rep with regard to replacement of items if it deems that it was in fact manufacturer fault.
As the rocket in question was also an AT product, they may well even replace that.
If they replace the case, great ....if they don't, I am not worried....as long as someone got the video!.......As another great showman (John Force of NHRA Funny Car Fame) said "If it's on fire or upside down keep the cameras rolling....It's good for the fans!"

I just hope Jason don't get disheartened with the loss, we need members like him in our chosen hobby.

Once again Dave thanks for being so understanding.

The Initiator was my fault. I'll cop that one sweet. I am sure in this case I put everything in right, I have gone over the instructions over and over since and I am certain I got it right.

I have spoken to and emailed Aerotech and I am waiting for their warranty tech to get back to me.

Shannan is not concerned with the loss .She just thinks it was cool to watch it go haywire and that it was entertaining. The damage can be repaired, might take a bit of work but should be doable.

I am not getting disheartened at all, I won't lie and say it doesn't effect you at the time but you have to expect this sort of thing when you put your rocket on the pad. This just fastens my resolve and makes me determined to get it right.

Hi Scoop & Tantaris, I’m looking to get a couple of the Hobby-Line motor cases in the near future, I like the look of the Rouse-tech cases and they work out cheaper to only get the 2 cases that I need (24&29mm). Where did you get yours from? The best price I have found so far is at Discount Rocketry, Does any one know if they are ok? Delivery to Australia without problems etc.

I see they have the 29/120 case there for $27.19 US, out of stock at the moment. (Probably cheaper then the reload that you put in it Tantaris). So it can be easily replaced. It’s still a good looking war trophy though and should be kept and displayed. This is not a cheap hobby we are into, but that’s half the excitement for me anyway. :)

Again nice Photo's Fridge & (Scoop for the Talon-2 shots) Good job

Andy Woerner from "What's up Hobbies" I believe has the best prices on the Rouse Tech cases around.

http://www.whatsuphobbies.com/

The 29/120 at $27.99 is great value.....don't forget that is USD though.

Maybe we should order a couple of the 29/120 cases from Andy and get him to throw in a Mercury Redstone & a Pershing II kit with the deal?...... Wadya think Jason?
