IMPULSE INCREASE FOR WA

Postby 6111_1 » Wed Nov 21, 2007 1:59 pm

On tuesday i got permission from DOCEP to launch 5 "J" motors for next year to obtain my level 2 certifcation

I am hoping that these flights will be successful and i will also be using these flights to show DOCEP that an impulse increase will be an acceptable step forward to prove that it is a safe option for this state.

I will be documenting these flights to show that an impulse increase doesnt mean we are flying reckless or it will put us above the waivers in place.

If this all works out I would like key members from PARC to sit down with DOCEP in june/july 08 to increase the impulse to "J" and "K" permanently. I do not believe they will allow us to go any further than this at this stage.(baby steps)

IF you load a motor into my firstorm for one of the launches that would be good should get 6000 ft and 650mph.

Hey wolflair any chance you can ask for me to launch a "M" motor wouldnt mind attempting a Level 3 Cert at PARC I got a few ideas for the rocket too mmmmmmmmm
pretty pleeeeaaase

I will compromise down to an "L" if it gets me a yes. I got a launch site lined up that would allow the height needed too will cost me a bottle of bourbon
