Mosquito Drag Race

Postby Aquaman33 » Wed Jul 18, 2018 9:12 pm

Are we allowed to drag race at Whallan Reserve? :D

I had these 3D printed for my kids.

It would be quite a spectacle seeing them all simultaneously head off in different directions.

Apparently you can fly them on C motors, but I think I'll stick to A motors so that we see them again.

The files can be found here if anyone is interested:

You may have answered your own question. Launching 1 rocket at a time allows everyone to focus just on that.
You should also check out the NSWRA Policies and Procedures.

The NSWRA controller only allows 1 rocket to be launched at one time

BTW, nice looking rockets! How much do they weigh?

Makes sense....and I think we will stand a better chance of spotting where they land if they go one at a time.

According to my digital kitchen scales they weigh 12.5g each....but they might not be super accurate.

The diameter is slightly large for a standard motor, but they fit nicely with a layer of tape.
