NSWRA Low and Mid Power Launch 25th July 2020

Postby Aquaman33 » Sat Jul 25, 2020 7:04 pm

Today New South Wales Rocketry Association had their first launch in six months.

A big thank you to the NSWRA committee who went to great lengths to ensure we could enjoy a Covid-Safe launch. Also well done to the members who were all very sensible and diligently followed all the guidelines.

The rain stayed away and there was no noticeable wind. As a result a number of rockets went straight up and down, landing close to the pads.

This was a low and mid power launch and we saw everything from Micro Maxx to G motors. There was plenty of variety including:
- A rocket with a sloth's head for a nose cone.
- A saucer
- A spool
- A cluster and a 2 stage
- A water rocket (George was doing secret business - I am sure all will be revealed on Youtube soon https://www.youtube.com/user/AirCommandRockets)

Thanks. My camera has been out of action for a while, so it was nice to get some pics again.

I think my reflexes are getting better, because I didn't need to delete too many shots.
