If members were expecting to spend the day on club activities, Maybe we could look at a working bee on club equipment in it's place?

I don't think there's much to work on there. I took the main rail and the quad pod that required refurbishment back with me and have already cleaned and repaired that kit.

Good suggestion nevertheless, ta.

Too bad there's no launch planned for today (14th), as the conditions are looking pretty ideal to me. Perfectly calm and clear. Anyone planning on going down?

Weekend weather's been pretty crappy lately and I'm not prepared to waste any long-worked-on rockets due to my own impatience. This weekend (20th-21st) is meant to be cloudy and windy but if saturday 27th or Sunday 28th is good I'll be down at the Wetlands. Here's hoping! I can only get kinda accurate weather forecasts up to ten days ahead so I don't know what the 27th will be like.

ANDREW, just remembered you mentioned an MMRG launch on Sunday 21st. Per my last post, I mentioned that the weather's not looking too good but if you want to fly I'd be happy to accompany you and fly a couple of my own birds if it doesn't look too risky (to the rocket that is!). Please let me (and the others) know if you still want to go ahead with a Wetlands launch this Sunday (21st).
Thanks.

Sorry to say I won't be able to make it this weekend.

May your flights be long and recovery walks short...

I'll be joining you guys on Sunday around 12pm at the Wetlands. If you're game to launch in 30k winds I'll be happy to watch and maybe launch a few of my "has-beens" but unless the weather's REALLY good I'll forego some of my more prized birds. You never know, the day could turn out BEAUTIFUL! Now why couldn't the weather be like TODAY! I was SOOO tempted to chuck a sickie and go flying. Why can't we get weather like today on the weekends?
