Rocket Talk to Rovers in Box Hill, Melbourne

Postby rockets4u » Wed Oct 13, 2010 10:13 am

Hello,
Just to let people know, I am doing a Rocket demo/talk to a Rovers Group in Box Hill, Melbourne this Friday (15 Oct 2010).

I plan to make them aware of my model rocket workshops, Rocketfest, MMRG, the Ausrocketry forum and of course Tripoli.

Hopefully an outbreak of "Roving Rocketeers" will result.
Cheers

Thanks for the good wishes.

BTW The Rovers go up to 25 yrs, so not sure if Kid's corner is the right place for this, but I didn't see an adult education section.

Anything that gets people more aware of and potentially involved in rocketry is good.
Hope it goes well

So, how did it go? :D

My brother and Oscar launched a couple of model rockets after Oscar's Joey scouts meeting....it apparently drew a bit of a crowd and made Oscar the coolest kid in the group!
