This summer I haven't had a chance to do too much building. I built a tiny Pterodactyl and built it onsite at LDRS 36. Then I bought a partially constructed 3" Punisher which I keep meaning to get to. I've also got a Kestrel that's about 85-90% complete that I keep meaning to finish.
I did build an Aerotech Tomahawk in June. Flew it once before the burn bans came down. I'll fly it again when they're lifted.
I'll probably take my Wildman Extreme to BALLS next week. Maybe the Punisher as well.
What about you?

A few things on the go...
Just finishing up a scratch built X Wing, that flys a cluster of a central C6-5 and 4x B6-4
Some other minor builds for the kids
And I've also got a modified Purple Parrot waiting for a chance to put an I216 in it and see if I can push it to 14k.
I'd share some pictures but unfortunately Photobucket has decided I need to pay them a large amount of money for that.

I plan to kick off another Star Was design and build next month.
Also I have curing oven plan in the works that unfortunately has stalled out.

Video of the X Wing here

I'm currently putting decals on it and will fly it again at Queensland Rocket Society's October Skys next month.

To elaborate on my "rebuild" quote,
Since the forming of AMRS I would have thought the membership of other organisations may have dwindled or even ceased being that Australia is a very limited market for such a specialized interest. With the current economic climate the way it is ,fiscally it makes more sense to be a member of one organisation rather than 2 ( I was a TRA member ) to get best value for dollars invested .
Nothing personal against Steve but TRA has had a high ranking board member on this continent for some time now and yet, I would be surprised how many members would know his name lest the last time he was on this forum representing the TRA or offering to answer any queries .
The irony of your user name being it from an 80's BBC series is not lost on me "Rimmer"

I will start this post with the comment that I hate politics, here or elsewhere.

There is a lot of work done in the background, and has been done for decades, by the person you allude to.

You probably don't have much visibility on that as you live in the West.

I started this thread to introduce myself and to try to be supportive of Australian Tripoli members. I would like to keep it civil and respectful. Along the way if my presence here helps mend some fences with AMRS, that would be great.

As I live in the west ?
Some of the hardest lobbying for our interest has been done by some of our out "WEST" members .
I may not have been a member of this forum for as long as some or YOU ,but I am not alluding to anything .
Behind the scenes is one thing but how does that help new prospective members seeking information if they can't find him openly.
