Hi Jacob.

Welcome!

NSW Rocketry Association is your nearest club.
http://www.nswrocketry.org.au/

The club members launch low and mid power rockets at Whalan Reserve near Mount Druitt once a month.

We also have high power launches out at Mullaley twice a year.

Whalan will be a 2 hour drive for you and Mullaley is about 4 hours.

There is a calendar on the club's website:
http://www.nswrocketry.org.au/PublicPages/Public_Calendar.html

This video gives you a good feel for what we get up to at Mullaley:

I don't believe there are any clubs in the Newcastle/Hunter region.

Look forward to hearing about what rocket projects you have planned.

Cheers,

Derek

Hi guys!
Sorry super busy life at the moment lol.
Not sure how to respond to individual comments
But yes a few projects.
Some little Estes kits with my son
But for myself I have two scratch builds
Ones a spaceX inspired one with grid fins and landing legs.
Another is a carbon fibre electron inspired one.
Almost ready to shop around for a onboard flight computers.
I also will be starting a gimbal one for vector control this weekend maybe if my print jobs finish.
I will probably start machining and making a pad soon.
So please hit me with all the tips lol
But be great when covid19 is over to get out and met people and see some launching!!!!

There are a few different ways to do it. Here's how I do it:

1. Upload the photo to a website. There are loads of different websites that you can use to upload photos. I use https://imgbb.com/
2. Copy the link to the photo's location.
3. Paste the link of the photo's location in your forum post between image tags. To create the image tags click on the Img button above your post.

So the image link should look something like this:

If you want to add pics directly to the site they need to be below 250kB in size. This lets you store them directly on the forum and does not need an image storage provider. Much easier IMHO.

When composing the post click the "Attachments" tab, add files, then browse to the file(s) you want to add and download the files. Place the cursor in the post composing window where you want the image to appear and click the "Place inline" button to put the pic in the post.
