Newbie / Oldie

Postby Kelstra » Mon Jan 08, 2018 7:46 pm

Hi guys ,been a member since 2013? WOW!! that long??? Just got back into rocketry from a long hiatus called family/ work commitments. Joined TRA (USA) this week and am about to join TRAA to finally get CERTIFIED for HPR. Ive done low power for 20 + years and had a blast with it and i am passing all my gear onto my friends so that can experience the RUSH of rocketry like I have .

Thanks for the replies on my Cert intentions guys. At the moment I have joined TRA (U.S) with the intention of joining TRAA to get my Level 1 at the moment. Blake from Aus Rocketry sent me an email outlining that I probably should join AMRS for insurance / certification purposes, but I had already joined the TRA  . Couple of days can make all the difference eh? Doesn't make too much difference as I am going to join AMRS as well . Hey, its just ca$h LOL. BTW I live I Melbourne, so I was going to join MARS, as I have seen some of their epic launch days.( Tin Tin flies to the moon). Cheers guys, Kelstra

Welcome back to rocketry, and to this forum, Kelstra. Given you are in Melbourne I will probably catch up with you at a launch sometime.

Lots of great information around here. Enjoy!
