I already do carry them, but I have discussed with LOC about buying full length SCTs to roll couplers too.

And this is why I want them....

Welcome back to the U.S.A. Blake!

Pity I can not come out to see you in OH. Would be a real treat to meet Barry and visit LOC's facilities too.

I got a phone call yesterday from a very 'happy' Blake and Barry chattering about the medicinal merits of Bundy :D

It's obvious that Blake's continuing to make friends and build business relationships over there. We will all benefit from this and I, for one, am grateful for his efforts...

Apparently Barry will have his LOC Precision mobile store at Balls this year and I hope to say hello there.

Blake, Be sure to take a few pics of the loaded container. I'm sure it's going to be a hell of a sight!

Yeah, I also heard someone else was importing motors by the ton. Must be an impressive setup and organisation to do that! Sorry Blake, seems you're buggered now!

Sorry for lack of posts whilst being here, we have been quite busy not only with loading the container, but I have been hard at work manufacturing LOC kits whilst meeting many new contacts which will help with expanding the possibilities of products in Australia.

I have been fortunate to speak to a few Aussies on the phones whilst being here, making sure I am not getting too home sick. I am heading home in a couple of days and will post a number of photos and other info when I return.

Geez Blake .... I'm not sure I would define those calls as actually speaking, more like Bundy fuelled rambling really.

And now it seems you have exposed another unsuspecting US citizen to that evil Queensland liquor!

On a more serious note ....... and I'm sure I speak for the bulk of Aussie rocketeers ........ A huge thanks for the effort put in to getting these shipments to our shores, without your dedication we would not be where we are today.

For those who weren't around, or are unaware of history ........ Blake put his neck out there quite some time ago and has arranged a good many of the authorizations we enjoy today.

Thanks Mate! 8)

Blako,

I can imagine the Quality control guy at LOC was happy to see you depart today;

Will this be like some Aussie wines - some years they are great, some years not so much ! "The 2012 LOC Hyperloc 300 was a bueat" & "the 2013 Hyperloc 300 had 2 fins....."

Either way, we're just jealous - what an opportunity ! Importantly i'm sure the Australian Rocketeer is thankful you have visited many of the manuacturers you represent (LOC, PML, Aerotech, CTI, Gorilla, Widman, to name a few) "got your hands into the product" talked with the Owners, designers, builders and put Australia on their map - this makes a difference. By the way, CTI want their P back.....

Have a safe return home.

Thanks guys! You are going to love what I did with LOC's front door :-) pic to follow once I sort out my phone...

That is one way to look at it RobW, or another is perhaps a new Aussie flavour on the manufacturing line.

Barry (or now commonly referred to as BAZZA), gave me his fair share of local poison too, so I think we are pretty even :-P Had a great time with Bazza and the team (Nancy, Mark, Melissa and Blizzard) that make LOC/Precision so successful. It was great to see things like Skyangle parachutes being made in person. Hopefully I have convinced them to meet those travelling to Balls in the Playa this year.

Having met most suppliers in person (some on numerous occasions) has certainly enforced our stance with growing rocketry in Australia. I think many appreciate the personal visits, whilst it helps to clearly define the logistical hassle that is shipping rocketry products internationally.

So let me get this straight, you cornered the owner of LOC Precision in a sea container with a loaded nail gun?
