Australian Rocketry needs more stock!

Postby kopius » Thu Sep 05, 2013 9:19 pm

It's getting close to that time again to bring in another container. As Australian Rocketry prepares for the next shipment of motors and other goodies, we always like to give people the opportunity to pre-order products as to not miss out on that certain item they really want.

We anticipate this container to be filled with all of the standard products as seen online (http://www.ausrocketry.com.au), plus a number of new items never been seen before in Australia. In particular there is some VERY SPECIAL motors planned for this next shipment.

Please send all requests/wishlists to info@ausrocketry.com.au I will review these when I return from USA at the end of September to place all orders in October. By the time our stock is manufactured and consolidated, this shipment is anticipated to be here around February/March 2014.

Will there be another after this one for ARTDU15 orders, or should we anticpate that this is the time to finalise our projects?

There will be another container for Thunda Down Under 2015, however it wont do any harm to order them in now.

Any chance of you bringing in some DMS motors (H or I)?

I am drawing closer to placing the order, so if there is any more requests, please get them to me this week.

Whilst in the USA in September, I met with Gary from Aerotech and discussed the DMS and other products. These are OK to bring in, so please make sure you let me know if you are after any in particular.

I also spent a lot of time with Jim from Gorilla who is working on some great new motors. If anyone else is interested in getting into snap ring motors and the wicked loads that come with them, this is a good time to make that happen ;-)

I'd love to be able to order something but I've no idea what I'm doing next. Possibly 50mm motor with tail cone and not too expensive...

Can you just make sure you get lots of cool kits please?

Pints, quarts, inches, feet etc are all good units. I'm just glad they switched to SI metric units for physics and engineering. Otherwise the speed of light might be measured in something like furlongs per fortnight!

Hey Blake, when can we expect the next shipment of stock to arrive? I'm itching to get my hands on a Raven 3 (70g). Should I order it on back order?

I should have more Raven's and other electronics soon.

The container however is still looking like late March/early April. Typical delays due to the quantity of propellant being processed.
