Featherweight Raven's back in stock

Postby kopius » Wed Apr 23, 2014 5:20 am

20 Featherweight Raven's have just come back into stock. There was a shortage of 250G units in the USA, so only 2 of these have come in.

Happy to swap out my 250g unit for a 70g as discussed. I was able to find screws but not nuts and standoffs.

I did however find the following discussion on the featherweight forums that discusses replacement screws, unfortunately they come in boxes of 100. I can't see myself having that much use but perhaps you want to stock them? I'd buy a few sets for myself so I'm betting others would too.

If you can find a hobby shop that stocks RC stuff, you should be able to find 2-56 bolts and nuts/t-nuts to fit the Raven. Like this -> Dubro 2-56 Mounting Kit. Or, as you suggested, maybe AR could stock them. :)

As of this shipment, AR does stock them! I am yet to put them up online, but i have 19 spare sets in stock.

Matthew, I will send you the 70G unit with the correct screws and collect the 250G at the next launch.

Cheers Blake, but it was the G10 I'm dying to get hold of otherwise no where to mount the Raven or any other component.

Hmmm, do you think I could just use expanding foam, with a vent for the pressure sensor? It would really cushion the electronics during high Gs
