2016 shipment of rocket motors and products

Postby kopius » Sun Sep 04, 2016 9:39 pm

Great news, it's rocket container time and this year Australian Rocketry will be bringing in more products than ever before. As always, we like to give people the opportunity to pre-order products as to not miss out on that certain item they really want.

Due to the poor exchange rate and increasing overheads, when this container arrives, prices on many products will be increasing in line with these additional expenses. The good news is, any pre-orders that are paid for in full will be priced at the current rates. This is a great opportunity to grab motors, hardware and other products at the old exchange rates.

Whilst Australian Rocketry will continue to keep motors priced as economical as possible, the Australian Model Rocket Society Inc. (AMRS) has been negotiating discounted motors for its members. Australian Rocketry is pleased to announce that as of the new shipment arriving, the bulk buying power of the AMRS membership will be rewarded with a range of discounted prices. Stay tuned for more information...

Orders should be placed online through the normal process. If you have any special requests for items not listed, please send these to info@ausrocketry.com.au. All orders must be received by no later than Monday 26/09/2016. The shipment is anticipated to arrive late this year.

We look forward to preparing for the 2017 flying season and launching higher and faster than ever before!

Cool. Time to do some planning :D
Would be cool to get some of the new reloads for the 29/40-120 and 24/60, but I do't think AT will have them certified in time :(

Awesome. Some orders coming from NZ!

In fact if anyone would like to fly with us (NZRA) in feb 2017, now could be a time to order motors for that weekend and have them shipped with our motors in advance.

What you reckon Blake, good idea?

Fantastic idea! There is a range of new motors headed to NZ in this order and hopefully a bunch of Aussies will make it to NZRA National Launch Day to hit the long white cloud ;-)

The cutoff for orders has been extended until next Monday (03/10/2016) as we have been travelling over the last two weeks and unable to answer all queries in time.

Additionally, you may have seen in the news about the Hanjin shipping company bankruptcy. Whilst we do not use this carrier, their situation is driving shipping prices up as other carriers take on the extra cargo. This is not good news, especially in the Southern Hemisphere where we rely on shipping most products, so this order is also a good opportunity to confirm products before the price rises really sink in.

Please do not hesitate to contact us at info@ausrocketry.com.au if you have any questions and we look forward to finalising the next shipment soon.

We seem to have missed your previous message. There is certainly a lot of 'hoot' given and the most recent shipment has been the most challenging with motor manufacturer delays. A lot of the container has been broken down with inert items being freighted in smaller shipments.

There is a smaller propellant shipment in progress, however some of the larger/long burn motors are delayed whilst the CTI factory undergoes their unplanned upgrade. Whilst this is frustrating for everyone (including people overseas), we just have to be a little patient.

If there is a particular product you are waiting on/desire, please email info@ausrocketry.com.au with the details so we can confirm availability.

In the interim, please feel free to post something about yourself on the introduction section or anything about what rockets you have/are working on. It says in your signature you have been flying rockets since the 70's, I'm sure you have a good story or two.

Not happy "Flying High".
I have a solution for you. Start your own company and import your motors yourself. That way you would have nobody to complain about except yourself.

Well someone's got their cranky pants on.
All I was after was a reply, and I got one.
Thanks.
