Welcome to Australian Rocketry 4.0

Postby kopius » Mon Aug 26, 2019 1:48 am

Australian Rocketry is proud to welcome you to the latest version of the website (https://ausrocketry.com.au). This new website runs on a newer, more powerful platform, with a cleaner, more user friendly layout. New shipping algorithms have been introduced too, so options are specific to what is in your cart, which also allows more economical dangerous goods rates for low and mid power rocket motors.

We would love to hear your feedback, whether it is suggestions for the website, product requests, how we are doing or anything else, please send a message via the contact page.

We look forward to filling the skies across Australia with the latest and most exciting rocket products.

Looks like a great improvement. A much more modern look and feel. Well done.

I have a couple of suggestions that I will send via the contact page.

Hi Blake,

I'm a bit "old school", so I like the red menu banner on the new AusRocketry website. Only problem is that I don't see the menu on when accessing the website from my mobile phone. I'm running Apple iOS and I can't find the menu using either Google Chrome or Safari.

Bye,
Mike

There is no menu bar at the top on IOS devices.

But if you click on the 3 horizontal grey lines next to the "A" of Australian Rocketry a side menu will appear.

Thanks for the feedback and comments so far.

Aquaman, received your email and will respond soon.

Wingnut, Aquaman is correct regarding the 3 horizontal lines which represents the menu system. This is part of the mobile compatibility requirements of browsers such as Google.

SirBrad, due to security reasons we couldn't bring across existing passwords, so please follow the reset your password / lost password instructions.

Thanks again!

Thanks Blake. I totally missed the "hamburger" icon. I needed a big red arrow pointing to the menu icon saying: "Old people, tap here for menu".

I'm loving the new menu on my mobile phone. It seems to me like the navigation is responding quicker than the old website. Or maybe I'm just getting slower. Three thumbs-up from me!

Resetting my password was easy enough and I see all my past orders.

Bye,
Mike

Looks good!
Are those stock levels up-to-date?
I was after a 29mm CTI H133 or H163, but they're showing as out of stock

Glad it is working well so far.

No the new stock hasn't made it up yet. Will make a post as soon as that's complete.

The new WEBSTORE is good (it's much faster) :D , just need to navigate it more to get a better feel for it, it's mostly the same as the previous version...

One recommendation (IMHO), for thous of us that what a quick rocketry hit, I would have an "In Stock" / "Availability" search option, now this might already exist but I'm not aware of it.

Something like the below (and wherever a search can be performed):

Thanks for the feedback CATO, that is a great idea. I will have to research that it is possible, but if so I will make it happen.
