Where is CanSat in Oz at?
There doesn't appear to be much activity in the Australian rocketry and STEM community with the CanSat competition. Is there an active group here on the forum? The last post on here with any mention of CanSat was about four years ago. Or am I just looking in the wrong places?

Would be nice to hear somebody was doing something with this. Lots more launch opportunities these days.

Exactly! It could represent a great opportunity for many schools, colleges and unis running in parallel to AYRC and AURC activities.

I just remembered a presentation by University of Melbourne a couple of years back and they were heading in that direction. They were even working on an inflatable antenna in their system.
Just did some digging and found some info on their program:

Hi folks,
I'm just entering this space (?!) now. My business delivers astronomy/space/rocketry to schools and interested groups. Operating out of Perth, WA.
I'd be very interested in networking with like-minded enthusiasts.
regards,
Rob
