Some nice Featherweight goodies turned up on my doorstep recently :) :) :)

Now I have to convince my daughter to part with her iPad so I can use the tracker system :D

Good buy OTT! I liked my FW tracker so much that I purchased a spare.

I’ve use it at the last two HPR sessions now and it’s been great. The first flight I lost visual on the rocket, but the tracker took me straight to it about 1 km away. I’m currently using an iPad 2, which is a nuisance. I don’t have an iPhone, so I’m waiting for the android app too.

Enjoy!

Thanks Voyager. I am looking forward to flying it. Still figuring out what Crapple device I will purchase, or borrow from my Daughter.

Got the Featherweight GPS system working on the ground today. Borrowed an iPad from my daughter (grumble, grumble). Seems to work ok. There is some stuff that needs refinement, so I will feedback to Adrian my impressions. Relatively pain-free, but a few foibles noted.

Now to graft it into a rocket. The Velociraptor is the designated guinea pig for this device.
