Is anyone using LoRa communications for rocket telemetry?
The LoRa mini board listed in the link below looks like it would be useful for telemetry communications and seems pretty cheap.

Anyway, big question is it a compliant transmitter, cause you can get yourself into a lot of bother with regulators. In had with that would be what frequency, power, licensing etc.

I've been playing with some LoRa Arduino shields from Jaycar. My intention is to use them for telemetry, but I haven't taken it very far yet - too many other projects!
