Is there a go-to camera when a GoPro won't fit?
I see a lot of good looking stuff for the FPV community, but things like a good global shutter and a smart ASIC seem just as important as lens and frame rate...

It has to squeeze into a 50mm id tube....

You could try and find a GoPro Hero Session camera. They're roughly 38mm squared. But beyond that I don't know any off the top of my head.

We've recently bought the Mobius MIni V2 that is nice and compact. It's a nice camera with very nice footage. Did you need the lens to be in-line with the tube or looking out sideways? We did a quick review of the camera here:
Dimensions are 54mm x 29mm x 14mm

Its only about AUD$100 and has quite an extensive set of controls you can configure via software.

It does look good. I REALLY like the record on power up feature. I've screwed up arming camera's more times than I'll ever admit..

It'd have to be canted downwards in my application, but that's not hard.... If the GoPro chicken doesn't fit then I'll grab one...
