Best offer (85 body tubes). Dead ant, dead ant....

Postby Bones » Sun Apr 26, 2009 1:19 pm

All my BT20 & BT50 body tubes have been... wait for it, infested with about a billion ants. These are my most popular sizes and I open these storage boxes almost every day. However, sometime in the last 2-3 days these little b@strds have decided to make home amongst a critical line of stock.

Perhaps this had had something to do with the recent rain, I don't know - The whole discovery was extremely odd.

I can't and won't sell these tubes the way they are. The tubes are not structurally damaged but are covered in stains and remains of dead ants.

I have the following quantities available;

QTY 50 BT50x18"
QTY 20 BT20x18"
QTY 15 29mm x 13mm

Will accept any reasonable offer for the lot. I don't want to play people against each other so PM me your offer by Thursday 30th. All the tubes will fit inside one standard box.

While I will shake off the tubes before sending, those interested should expect to receive some dead ant remains with their tubes. I expect a damp rag would remove most marks.

This infestation has destroyed all my BT20 & BT50 18 inch stocks. I will order replacements ASAP but will be out of stock for 1-2 weeks.

Yeah... It sux. Hopefully they will go to a good home for somebodies budget projects for the next 10 years!

I have been going through the rest of my stock which is clean. I can't be sure, but I think they have been attracted to the boxes that had the silica gel in them. Only these boxes are affected.

How ironic, I used this stuff to protect my product while in storage!

Could they be used in place of wadding?
