All the best Bones .When you move .... to make it a quick trip why dont you strap a few decent sized rockets to the back of your car for extra impulse. Then we can watch your trip up north from the smoke trail on Google earth.

I bought my first rocket in 1968 for $1.50 and the engines were $0.38 each and that was stretching my pocket money!!!!!

I know from *cough* experience that 40km over the limit in Queensland will score you 8 demerit points, 6 months instant loss of license and a $700 fine! NSW is known to have higher fine than Qld, so I wonder what the punishment would be for 400km over the limit???

On a side note; that was many years ago and I was stuck with 1 point for about 2 Years and 10 Months after that. That was about 5 Years ago, and I haven't lost a point since. So I guess one could say that I may have learnt my lesson about speeding after that.

Which is fine unless you live in Victoria. We have random speed cameras.

No, 'random' does not refer to time or location.

I reakon Bones would be ok just as long as he didn't fire the rockets in a school zone... Though they say that speed cameras have an upward speed limit, so as long as he maintained something like Mach 0.6 through the camera....

Place the motors so the exhaust plume obscures the number-plate from the cameras

Are you moving that far into the bush that the roads haven't made it that far yet?

Will you have electricity?

Yeah, until you scare the crap out of the cops when you get done for 106 in a 60 zone on Creek Road at Carina, and I was just taking it out of second gear!!

Those were the days when I used to have to drive my Group G spec rally car to work. :)

I must have got in just before the law changed. :)

It looks like our new home will be finished earlier than anticipated.

I will be out of Sydney from Thursday the 22/10/2009 through to Sunday the 25/10/2009 for the house inspection and hopefully handover.

During this time I will leave the store switched on so orders can be placed if required, but there won't be any communication regarding any orders until the Sunday night (25/10/2009). Depending on when I get back on Sunday, communication may even get delayed until Monday the 26th.

I will be unable to ship orders on the 22nd, the last orders I will be able to ship for that week will be on the Wednesday (21/10/2009).

Despite this cool event coming earlier than expected, this doesn't change my long term plan. I still do not expect to be moving until sometime in December so everything else will be “as usual” up until that point.

Finally, I am looking to wind up placing my last stock orders a little earlier than anticipated – Things have been quiet lately and I want to avoid being overstocked for the moving process. It is unlikely that any stock replenishment orders will be placed after early November and normal re-ordering will not resume until probably late January 2010. This means that potentially some items will be low or unavailable until mid February. I will be in a hurry to get things operational again but this is going to take time….

If anyone wants something specially ordered then please let me know sooner than later. I am still happy to specially order stuff (very happy to!), but I am now officially starting to wind my stock levels down.

Orders placed to help reduce my stock levels (especially on the larger kits which are at the hightest risk of being damaged during the move), will be greatly appreciated.
