It's a little over 3 days until the launch and another tick in the box has been made.

We have just received the notification of approval from CASA & OAR for our proposed high altitude windows into controlled airspace.

Approval had been sought and now granted for a number of flights which may exceed the standing 18,000 ft instrument.

The windows for flights entering Class E Controlled Airspace will be as follows:

Saturday 02 June 2012 - 0500 to 0700 UTC
Sunday 03 June 2012 - 0300 to 0500 UTC
Why Limit Yourself?

Some great weather downtown too!! 1 to 6 degC mornings. A couple of frosts last week, one at –3degC so bring your animal skins and someone to cuddle the nox bottle all night. Frosty mornings usually mean perfect launch weather,, Its Looking Good!

And please don't forget rocket flyers, that there is a well equipped 24hr workshop on standby, only a 1/2 hour drive from the launch site, so if something is preventing you from flying your masterpiece, please Speak UP!! :D

Thanks for the kind offer, Steve. Yes, there is, can you please take the guy with the yellow vest and big red button to your workshop while we launch?

No reports from WWW yet. :!: :?: The forum has gone quiet.

I guess they are having too much fun launching too many high power rockets! :D

Either that or the internet hasn't made it to WA yet...

PS I don't thing there is anything such as "too many high-power rockets"!
