Instruction For Pro38 Pellet Trimming

Postby CATO » Tue Apr 23, 2019 2:19 pm

Recently a manufacturing defect of the ignition pellets has been discovered which affects the Cesaroni Pro38-1G & Pro38-2G line-up. A significantly higher ignition pressure spike has been observed. To resolve this issue a simple field modification is required for all reloads purchased between Apr 1, 2017 to April 15, 2019.

 wow a two year window must be a lot of affected reloads!

Thanks for sharing Dave I’ll make sure it gets communicated to our members as they’re not all on the forum.

Yeah, an interesting finding, it’s good that they admitted the issue, I guess there’s going to be a great many people over the next few weeks checking their stock....

Some more information here.
The failure symptom is nozzle blow out, we actually had two motors do this at our December launch, this explains it!
