Weather update 2:

Partly cloudy. The chance of morning fog. Slight (20%) chance of a shower in the evening. Light winds. Overnight temperatures falling to around 2 with daytime temperatures reaching between 14 and 17.

Still looking ok for the morning launch, but fog might delay the start. Check out the current conditions at Manton Rd with our weather station on the CRG website http://canberrarocketry.no-ip.org/

Well, the weather was ideal for a morning launch. A little cool to start, but warmed up nicely when the clouds broke up and the sun appeared. The winds were light and variable, but not much drift.

We had a great turnout with regulars, and a number of new faces; some as participants, some as spectators (and possibly soon-to-be flyers). There were a few anomalous launches throughout the morning, but a good time was had by all.

Check out the Facebook page https://m.facebook.com/CanberraRocketryGroup over the next few days for some pics from the morning.
