CRG's July 2020 L/MPR Launch at Yass

Postby Voyager » Mon Jun 29, 2020 11:10 am

Our next scheduled low/mid power launch at Manton Road will be next Sunday 5 July, weather permitting. Currently group gatherings in NSW are limited to 20 people. We will need to restrict attendance to the required committee members and then to normal members only on a first-in basis. No spectators please, unless you have checked with a committee member first to confirm whether the limit has been reached. Could normal members please indicate as to whether you plan to attend this launch. A list will be compiled and circulated when the limit has been reached. We will need to have a list of attendees for possible contact tracing - hopefully this will not be required!

Those of you that do attend, please ensure that you adhere to the recommended COVID-19 precautions of separation and hygiene. Add hand sanitizer (and mask if you wish) and your own pen (for filling out the launch sheet) to your list, along with the usual hat, sunscreen & water. There will be hand sanitizer at the LCO table, but we will be limiting contact exchanges to a minimum. We will announce any required procedures on the day at the pre-launch briefing. Setup will be from 9:00 and launch activities will kick off at 9:30 to about 13:00.

Please note that as we are a Tripoli prefecture you must be a current Tripoli Rocketry Association member to launch with us. Additionally, CRG membership renewals are now due. All current members should have received an email with the appropriate details for renewal. Please check the notifications here on the AR Forum; on our website (; and our Facebook page ( over the next few days to get the latest updates.

Stay safe & well.
