Pretty amazing technology. Can you imagine one of these at a launch site when you need that part made up? Skip to 3:20 to see it.

What an amazing piece of equipment! The algorithms built into that would have given the developers some interesting work along the way as they developed the firmware :D

Also, I was just using one of those Bridgeport mills (non-CNC) about an hour ago!

There's no concrete info on when it'll be available or how much it will cost. There is an FAQ page which indicates that it's planned to be released "
sometime in 2016." But don't hold your breath, because the manufacturer says: "We will initially be launching Shaper Origin in the United States only, but our plan is to expand from there to offer it internationally." Still, it's a neat bit of kit.
