ROCKETS Magazine October 2010

Postby Wingnut » Thu Nov 04, 2010 2:29 pm

I've been monitoring the ROCKETS Magazine website for weeks and it looks like you guys have beaten me to the punch.

I know that Bob has had delays with printing and delivery at his end, but it looks like the October 2010 issue of ROCKETS Magazine is out now, and it's a good one. There's too many good articles to list here. Find out for yourself by clicking on the cover picture (below) to download a preview of the magazine:

I'll post here again when I've got some details on delivery to Australian subscribers.

If you're not a regular subscriber but would like a copy of the October 2010 issue, please let me know and I'll see if it's not too late to get extra copies inlcuded in the bulk shipment to Australia.

Ciao for now,
Mike

Similar to Lamp's comment in the other thread, I can't wait for this copy!

I'm sure the Page 61 gal would be more than happy to sign a few autographs if a request came through

Bob Utley tells me that the box of October issues was mailed out on Tuesday 2nd November (USA time). So they should be here in another week or so.

If you're not a regular subscriber but would like a copy of the October 2010 issue, please go to the ROCKETS Magazine website and purchase a copy of October 2010 (Issue #28). Here's a link. The cost is USD$6.95 plus USD$2.00 for shipping all the way to Australia.

Has anybody else noticed the letters F & I are missing from "wildfire" on the cover in the picture above?

Hi ya all,

The October magazines have arrived and I hope to make it to the post office tomorrow to collect them and then get them out to everyone.

Only another sleep or two before the wonderment that is the October 2010 issue of ROCKETS Magazines is yours to savour. Yes, the magazines went to Australia Post earlier today.

I have a few spare copies of the October issue. Please let me know if you would like to avail yourself of a copy. First priority will go to anyone whose magazine gets lost or damaged in post. If you magazine ever gets damaged, please retain the envelope it came in.

You know, it's actually a lot of fun doing the local on-shipping for the magazine. Every couple of months I get the joy of receiving a big box of goodies, wrapping them individually and sending them out to make other people happy.

Got my copy of ROCKETS Magazine today as well ......... Nice spread if I do say so myself ... 8)

Thanks for the kind words Ari, although I think Bob may have "tidied it up" a wee bit.

Thanks to all the folks who contributed to the piece, be they photographers, writers, or just fliers themselves, because without the participants, there wouldn't have been anything to write about!

We are going to have to make an all out attempt to secure the "Cover Shot" next year, and I'm kinda thinking an N2000W drag race just may do it!

Bring on 2011
