ROCKETS Magazine October 2012

Postby Wingnut » Sun Oct 28, 2012 5:26 pm

The October 2012 issue of ROCKETS Magazine is about to be released.

Click on the cover picture (below) to download a preview of the magazine:

There's another bunch of great articles in this issue, including:
  • write-ups on a couple of cool HPR projects
  • Reports from a few launch events (i.e. Festival of Rocketry, ThunderStruck 2012, and Red Glare 12)
  • There's even a couple of likely characters from Australia

I'll post here again when I hear more news about the shipment of our magazines.

Ciao for now,
Mike

Hi Mike,
that's great news!

Do you know if they're going to release a digital copy this time around? I thought it was a great idea :)

Cheers,
Sascha.

Hi Mike

How does one subscribe to Rockets here in Australia? Are you getting all the mags and then posting them out here?

G'day Chris, you subscribe here:
http://www.libertylaunchsystems.com/
Make sure you chose Australia...

All the magazines are then sent in bulk to Mike who, when he gets them, puts them into envelopes and posts them to all the subscribers here in Australia. :D

Sascha, the free beta test and market sampling for electronic distribution of ROCKETS Magazine has been run and concluded. They guys still have some work to do. Their plan sounds great but unfortunately we'll have to patiently wait 2-3 months for everything to come together.

Chris, just as the guys mentioned above, you need to subscribe directly via the ROCKETS Magazine website. I'm not an "on seller" or anything that sophisticated. I simply offered to distribute individual magazines from within Australia to keep the subscription costs to a minimum for subscribers in Australia and New Zealand.

I suppose I'll get to read mine in a couple of months, when I return from Chile.
