Piston Launcher

A while back someone mentioned they were designing and building there own take on a piston launcher.. but for the life of me i cant remember who it was so if that person could reply here or send me a pm that would be great, failing that what advice/ideas do people have on piston launchers.. thinking that piston launching my 24mm MD could help me get poofteenth more altitude 8)

Watch out if you are shooting for altitude records. I believe piston launchers and any other form of "assistance" to slip off the planet quicker make them ineligible for the official records. Check it out to to confirm.

Don't take that as a "don't do it". Just have fun along the way and try and outdo yourself or your competitors :D

Hmm hadnt thought of that.. ill look into it.

Dont suppose you know what the highest launch site in australia is? As in above sea level..
