Phenolic tube mechanical properties

I am looking for the mechanical properties of phenolic tube. In particular:
Density
tensile strength
compressive strength

Phenolic "what" tube? Phenolic is the resin (matrix), but what is the reinforcing? Is it paper-based, glass-based, arimid-based? Need to know.

I'm pretty sure he is referring to the "generic" branding of Phenolic tube in his question .... ie: cardboard based spiral wound tube impregnated with Phenolic resin , and commonly marketed by rocketry suppliers as "Phenolic Tube"

I couldn't find much via Google but I did read this in the PML Faq.
It was first introduced because it is much stronger than cardboard tubing, with almost 5x the compression strength

It is indeed stronger than cardboard but compared to every other rocket airframe material other than PVC is it much more brittle.

Correct. I think it has a place in certain builds, like as a motor mount for instance. Or maybe an airframe if you want to wrap it in fg and you're a glutton for sanding. I really only use it for mandrels when making airframes myself.
